A year or two ago, a friend of mine sent me some Penzey's Granulated Shallot, because the shipping cost is too much for me to order one jar, and in the package was a sample baggie of their RESIST! Seasoning (black pepper, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, white pepper, chipotle).
I liked it so much, I started making something similar from what I have in my kitchen, but I've added to it. Recipe to follow:

Gemma's Resistance: 1/2 T fine iodized salt 1/2 t Ajinomoto Hi Mi (or regular Ajinomoto or MSG) 2 t ground black pepper 2 t ground paprika 1 t ground white pepper 1 t ground cayenne pepper 1 t ground chipotle 1 t granulated garlic 1/4 t granulated citric acid Mix well. This will almost fill a typical spice jar of the size used by Kamenstein, Morton & Basset, or Penzey's. Try to avoid eating it straight out of the bottle.
