I did some side by side testing of opus and an MTP version of gemma4:26b I built as a general tool calling assistant and the results have been pretty spectacular. I only hit issues with context size but otherwise great performance as a general question answerer when cross checking data sources they both site. #llm #ai #homelab #gemma
