Just reading about #superalignment and although some of the objectives are sounds, the premise itself is ludicrous: how can we ensure alignment of #AI when we cannot align ourselves together on matters as obvious as the survival of humanity? We can blame the AI now or even in the future, but that's lying to ourselves: if we go extinct, it will be because one part of humanity will have gained so much power to overcome the others. And that has already begun.
