Sometimes, it’s hard to wrap my head around the idea that in 1976, when I was in First Grade in Edmond, Oklahoma, that Robin Williams and David Letterman were performing comedy in nightclubs. There was a lot more cocaine in their scene, but we did have fire ants and horny toads. Probably pretty similar.
