@vicgrinberg@mastodon.social I also find it enjoyable to do mending. Though I've also found that as I've done more of it (and had more practice with different techniques) it's gotten a lot more practical. The repairs look better, go faster and last longer. The book "Well Worn" by Skye Pennant was really helpful in learning some really effective mending techniques.

@scififan@kind.social I'm super fast and pretty practiced (although not with this particular technique): but there is a certain amount of time that need to be invested in that many stitches. And my time is worth quiet a lot.
