New Meshell Ndegeocello alert! https://www.bluenote.com/meshell-ndegeocello-announces-new-album-synonym/ It's a cover album -- this is Meshell's 3rd by my count, including her amazing Nina Simone tribute -- but her first with an enormous list of collaborators from all over the musical map. Seriously: this many collabs would make me give the side-eye to others but it's Meshell. It will be great. (Plus, two Roberta Flack/Donny Hathaway tunes on the tracklist? (Be Real Black for Me, Closer I Get...) Come on, we're golden) #MeshellNdegeocello
