You are right that Canadian Tire is an expensive place to buy solar energy.
But we don't think that Canadians are disadvantaged right now when it comes to renewable energy.
We agree governments and businesses are failing us but mostly because of their promotion of fossil fuels.

@vrec@mastodon.energy @chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca I've been quoted from two different companies and it's much closer to what @chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca posted though. An ~8kW system for $22k - $30k, or $2.75-3.75 per watt.
