  @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org The people who make these public posts are not serious. They're just angry and wishing the very bad people would go away, one way or the other, sooner rather than later. Hypothetically — and I am not suggesting anyone do this — if I had the real intention to remove a rogue leader (for example, if Trump staged a coup and succeeded, making himself king), I would go very pro-MAGA and praise Donald Trump, kissing his ass and making it seem like I had seen the light. There would be nothing he could say or do that I would find fault with, and I would continue to claim how honored I would feel to meet him someday — basically playing to his ego and his base. And I'd do this for a long time (years). Then one day, I'd be in the front row at one of his rallies where everyone was shaking his hand, and I'd shake his hand too, as I suddenly pull him in close and slit his throat. I wouldn't expect to be unscathed, but neither would he. That is all to say, Donald John Trump has more to worry about from his own people than he does from some random, angry so-called Democrat posting online. Having said that, historically, Donald John Trump is the most threatened president in the history of the United States. He also holds the record for the most attempted assassination attempts against any sitting president.
