I have an admission...something that makes me uncontrollably rage more than any other tech... FOLDING PHONES 📱📱 - Cost twice as much as a regular smartphone when people are already struggling to afford tech - Permanently messed up after a bad day at the beach - Inner screen can be scratched with your fingernail - The most anti-repair smartphones - All attention towards budget phones have gone towards these 'premium' ones instead. To me it's peak 'everything that already sucks about smartphones' but 2x and for a gimmick; I've never walked around in public going 'oh wow I really wish I had a dual-screen phone right now' What's even more upsetting is Apple is getting ready to validate this form factor. Are you reading this on a folding phone? I won't bite, though I'm very curious and open to having my mind changed 👀
