#introduction time! My name is Matt, I'm new to veganism.social, but not new to the #Fediverse. I first joined in 2018 on a #mastodon instance that's probably gone by now. I've been leaving and coming back over the years due to health and life circumstances, but I've been consistently back on for a while. Anyways, I'm an #opensource web developer (#php/#vue), #punk/#metal musician, #anarchist, #antifascist as hell, #feminist, #ally, and hater of #bigtech and what #ai is doing to our planet. Speaking of our planet, I am a #vegan for health and ethical reasons, but I am not going to be shitty towards people if they're not. I'm in the process of building out my own little spot on the #indieweb/#smallweb so I can return to running my mouth on a blog. If I followed you, it's probably because we have common interests, or I enjoy your brand of #shitposting. Or you've activated my inner-geek with #startrek and #videogames. Anyways, thanks for reading all of this. I hope the attached picture of Marvin the Mushroom has brightened your feed in some way.

What exactly would you consider being shitty: telling someone they should stop killing innocent sentient beings?
