Trump's FIFA fiasco ends with an embarrassing 4-1 defeat at the hands of Belgium. A slapstick loss. If Trump's superpower is shamelessness, so be it. He still managed to make himself & his country a laughingstock. His FIFA peace prize is as fake as his orange tan--a pathetic prize made of fool's gold.

Defying a red card is almost too-perfect a symbol for Trump. The rules don't apply if you come to the dark side. Anything can be fixed with a phone call--a word in the right ear.

The biggest bonus of the FIFA fiasco is that it's pure distraction--from Iran, from Epstein, from ICE, and so on.
