The biggest bonus of the FIFA fiasco is that it's pure distraction--from Iran, from Epstein, from ICE, and so on.

The fact that all of this takes place in the shadow of Trump's FIFA Peace Prize adds a darkly bitter absurdity to the fiasco. Yes, they gave him a peace prize.
