1. What surprised you in this document? - pleasantly surprised by relative weight given to avoiding harm - appalled by failure to examine serious questions around AI training practices (bias, intellectual property, privacy human labor) apart from a throwaway note in the appendix on AI creators’ design choices - mystified by failure to consider economic implications of relying on oligopolistic commercial products currently heavily subsidized by venture capital investment
