So had an awkward poly/queer/autistic moment last week.
Chatting with a hot enby, they show me a photi of them and their partner dressed for Ren Faire. Partner made his whole outfit, all leatherwork. It was amazing. I said, "OMG is he available?"
They turn to me and say, "yeah."

Then! Hot enby shows me a picture of them in a well fitted vest and tie. I stammered, mouth agape. My partner says, "how you doin love? You okay?" Then laughs. My face is burning. I fan myself.
