@catraxx@tech.lgbt It's free for all functions for me and everyone else, it doesn't require someone to have an account to download or even just view the data and my calculations, it's accessible and user-friendly in terms of disability, glitches are rare, and I'm good at using it. Since the data is collected outside of Google, individual submissions can't be connected to specific people/locations by Google.

@gendercensus@fediverse.gendercensus.com I understand there are benefits to using it and i am not concerned about the privacy of the people who are part of the study, i am concerned with the privacy of who ever accesses the document on google. There are good, stable, easy to use alternatives which do not require registration and i am fairly certain that people here would help. I know it's annoying to use something new, but i don't think many of us here feel safe anymore.
