I have a very Irish maiden name and my dad’s family are believed to originally hail from there, but we’re talking beginning of 19th century…so I too am by no means an expert. I see this legal decision as very odd, provocative and dangerous. I remember when the Good Friday Agreement was signed - I was out with friends and we all regardless of our political and religious beliefs (which were quite mixed back then) celebrated. We had seen bombs explode in Bournemouth in 90’s

@JugglingWithEggs@mstdn.social I tried to edit my post to add acknowledgement of your parenting skills but for some reason I couldn’t. But I didn’t want to overlook how you’re using real world examples to teach your children important life lessons. (Hope you accept I’m applauding you and not being patronising.)
