I tried to edit my post to add acknowledgement of your parenting skills but for some reason I couldn’t.
But I didn’t want to overlook how you’re using real world examples to teach your children important life lessons. (Hope you accept I’m applauding you and not being patronising.)
Hope all’s well… I haven’t forgotten you’ve had some sad events not that long ago…

@TalktoBeverley@mas.to Thanks, but it’s been a long weekend…my parenting skills are hanging by a thread! One kid had a sleepover at a friend’s house last night…they ate sweets and were up virtually all night apparently. Which is I know what kids that age typically do on sleepovers! But they rang me at 5am, I didn’t hear it, but other kid did and then was awake for the day. Basically by mid afternoon everyone was very grouchy and explosive…and so it’s rumbled on, everyone refusing to sleep.
