This reminds me, regarding the #KIDSAct I'm not entirely sure if ActivityPub (fediverse) would be exempt. @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu The alt text on this image claims that the bottom right signer has their palms out, even though their thumbs are clearly on the opposite side of the body, which you see when the BACKS of the hands are pointed at the viewer. That, the lack of indication which sign language this is from, the fact that only one of the images has any indication of movement, and the fingers and facial features bleeding into each other tells me some/all of this post is slop.

@EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu Correct me if I am wrong but I can't recall seeing any EU leader speaking and there being a sign interpreter next to them. Not a common sight with national leaders either. Are even all European Sign Languages officially recognised by now? I know several only received official status in recent years.
