"Truth without love does not feel like truth to me."
Agreed. It is impossible for the two to be separated. Where there is one, there the other is.
Sunlight is a perfect example of this. It is light, but it is also heat. The sun always produces both, not only one of the other.
Light represents truth.
Heat represents love.
Sunlight and heat are always one, as truth and love are one.
This truth also points to what Jesus said: I (the Son) and the Father, are One.

@Earl@mast.john1126.com Yes, that is a beautiful image. Light and heat together makes sense to me. Truth without love becomes cold, and love without truth can become sentimental or vague. When they are joined, something living is present. I don’t come to this through the same scriptural frame, but I do recognise the practical truth of it. If what we say brings more clarity, humility, mercy, and kindness, then it has life in it. If it brings fear, pride, condemnation, or the wish to win, then something has gone wrong, however correct the words may sound. For me, truth and love are not really separate. Truth shines, and love warms. That is the test I trust.
