A couple folks mentioned #iTerm2 in the replies but I swear every update has some new "AI" feature that makes me sad. iTerm2 v3.7.0: > - Companion App: a new iOS app, iTerm2 Buddy ... connects over an encrypted Noise channel so you can interact with iTerm2 via AI chat from your phone. > - There's a new kind of AI chat called "orchestration" which can view all your sessions and operate iTerm2 for you. > - Claude Code integration was added. This is not the type of program I want to rely on.

@annika@xoxo.zone Someone's got a fast terminal emulated written for emacs, which supports sixel graphics if you want to view images over ssh. (Which is why I tried it) https://codeberg.org/akib/emacs-eat Which I think meets the no AI and no fascists requirements
