@Robinzz3@mastodon.au Right, for what a man does not know about, he should remain quiet. Humility is required to not speak about those subjects unknown to him, but allow another with the knowledge to speak instead. And then listen. Most people are too proud and arrogant, thinking they know everything they need to know, so they refuse to learn from those who have the knowledge. Some people even use the scriptures, which is truth, to attack, but do so without love. Those words bring death and not life.

@Earl@mast.john1126.com I understand what you are saying. For me personally, I do not find comfort in the Bible. I know many people do, and I respect that. But I have also seen scripture used to frighten, condemn, exclude, and control people. So I approach it carefully. I agree with you that words without love can bring death rather than life. That is exactly why I am cautious. Even sacred words can become dangerous when they are used without humility and kindness. For me, the test is simple: does this bring peace, mercy, honesty, and love into the present moment? If not, I step back. Truth without love does not feel like truth to me. It feels like fear wearing religious clothing.
