For those who haven't checked it out or maybe came in early when it was a bit too bear bones, the audio-only social network app called Ramblio is really becoming a thing. Custom audiences, hangouts, your own bespoke communities, all the rest. Yes its blind-focused and that sure comes with its issues but I often point out that these apps are the community that use them, so its on us to make it better.

@bermudianbrit@mastodon.online Loving "just the whole idea of" audio-only social network apps. Wondering about how do I drive-by scrolling? Will having to stop and listen, instead of "glance and judge" change the tempo of social mediaing? Are the huge vistas of tone of voice and timing being used to give invective and sarcasm their head? How similar is the experience to being in a pre-literate culture? It's a bit like being virgin all over again. #Ramblio
