@TarynDeVere@mastodon.ie @Evidencen@mastodon.world @gracedyas@mastodon.ie I’m positive the people who’ve used it meant no disrespect to real refugees fleeing persecution, I certainly didn’t. My ancestors on my dad’s line were the original refugees here, the Huguenots. I think it feels a bit more than just downloading a new app, many feel they’ve been forced off of Twitter and had to find a new home online. I had no choice as I was suspended last week for being nasty to the head of UKIP!
