As a cyber security professional my work is all about begging for the basics, fighting bushfire with a bucket of water, while my CISO is hallucinating AI powered scrip kiddies jacked to a nation state level. The local water treatment plant runs on Windows XP, has an internet-facing admin portal with default credentials. You don't need AGI to get fucked. Footnote: so far the all the agentic felony hacking were committed by the frontier labs. So it seems you need a carp ton of money to burn on tokens to do anything meaningful with AI. I wouldn't put it very high on my threat list.
