She still is very treat-driven, but we do make distinctions and use other buttons, especially play, pets, training and "all done." "Water" is a special thing. It means water, but it often means SOMETHING else, that I can't figure out. Perhaps just "thirst" in a more general sense, such as, "I want something from you." Attention? Cleanup? Play? I don't know.
