Yes, there is a learning curve; and it's hard at first to draw with the backlight (reducing brightness helps a bit, esp. on white background) and also there is still a little distance, or thickness between the tip of stylus and the real pixels. Same about the pressure sensitivity of the tip: it takes a bit of time to manage it. But with a bit of practice, it can quickly become a comfortable media. I hope your install on Alpine will get you the most of it!
