@hughtaylorscifi@universeodon.com Well, I don't pay for any of my news sources (one can trivially evade the NYT's paywall, and the rest are open). Alas, most of the stuff I see on places like Mastodon that isn't also on the mainstream tends not to survive a fact-check. But I didn't make myself clear: I'm not trying to break my addiction to the sources I currently have, but to their subject matter. I am done with political/social issues. I know where I stand. Now I want something else worthy of my time.
