  @castastrophe@front-end.social Thanks :) I really only mentioned the demographic questions as a data point to say that declining all that junk hasn't really mattered to my search either. The hiring process is basically completely broken right now for a lot of reasons. HR is basically incapable of correctly filtering for tech roles by virtue of ignorance/incompetence. MBA morons still buying the "you can fire all the humans and just use AI" sales pitch. As a result of the market and increasingly awful application process more and more people are using LLMs to slop out resumes/applications, which only adds noise. More noise creates more slop creates more noise in a feedback loop.
