The next door neighbour has been having some work done on their house for a few weeks now. It seems like they're getting some under-roof-edge (eaves?) sorted as well as a back verandah roof being added. The guy who has been doing the work seems really lovely, and has been super kind about the dogs barking when they see him up in his ladder ("AARGH THE ASSASSINS ARE FLYING MOTHER COME QUICKLY!") Today he's been using what I think is a nail gun? So there's this Very Fucking Loud POP type of bang that's happening, but only occasionally (I'm guessing it takes time to line everything up before putting in the nail)... and I'm absolutely at the end of what I can deal with.
