I suspect "the economy" would not be such a catalyst for political unrest if the top 1% weren't hoovering up most of the wealth of each country.
Seems like real basic shit to me.

@gwynnion@mastodon.social It really is amazing when you recognize how easy it is to mollify _most_ of us. It's pretty cheap too comparatively. Their greed is _so_ great they can't bring themselves to do it. We have to grovel, beg, plead, and be grateful that we get the opportunity to do it all. ... And they think _they_ hate _us. They've got _no_ fucking idea what hate is.
