Spent the morning making Valgrind Suppression files, to block out the hundreds of errors generated by the nvidia drivers. In nvidia's defence, by the very nature of an OS with memory mapping and pre-emptive multitasking,, hardware drivers are going to do things that to a user look like memory is being allocated and never free'd. Only the kernel can see the whole picture, and I'm not trying to debug that, just my programs.
Not sure what `dbus`'s excuse is 🤔
Since then been poking around a long standing idea that's been kicking around my head. A dynamic module thingy, where I can optionally link parts of my program, and the core figures out what's there, no code alteration at all. Yeah I know, this is grade A "asking for it", but it's getting to the point where such a feature may just save more time than it eats. Especially around testing.
