@Sheril@mastodon.social I was in 9th grade in a library study booth. I heard "crunch crunch crunch" from the other side. I walked over and it was a little girl (10th grade) with long-black hair. She offered me a sliced carrot from home. Crunch crunch crunch. I am Carrot Eater Companion (CEC) and she is Carrot Eater 50++ years later. We listened to caterpillars.
