While I know there is performance downgrade, there's a way to run GNU/Linux programs on BSD, right?
Couldn't you do this for Proton games?

@The_Universality@mastodon.novotnykrystof.com @lime360@floofy.tech @Tutanota@mastodon.social BSD has the GNU suite mostly. Both GNU and the BSD equivalents are POSIX compliant. Same as Darwin, the Mac equivalent.

@The_Universality@mastodon.novotnykrystof.com @lime360@floofy.tech @jaypeach53@calckeymusic.social @Tutanota@mastodon.social There's compat_linux for running Linux programs on #FreeBSD or #NetBSD (and most derivatives, but not #OpenBSD), but I couldn't get it working for #KerbalSpaceProgram (the native Linux binary, not #proton or #WINE), so I'm not sure if it can be used for games. We need more #FOSSGaming ;)
