@paul_ipv6@infosec.exchange @spaf@mstdn.social Quite recently, my IFA dude was chiding me about wanting to keep most of my retirement funds in gilts and similar, bcs 'we can do a lot better with tech stocks'. I told him I was pretty sure the AI thing would go 'bang' and destroy several markets. I was not expecting it to start quite so soon! I worked in IT for nearly half a century, and I've seen most of the bubbles come and go. What's that alternative line to 'I told you so'? Oh yes, "this is an outcome which was predicted early on" 😂 🤣
