I understand the longing for a powerful being to restore order. Many traditions speak in that language.
But I wonder if the deeper invitation is closer than waiting.
Perhaps what restores order begins wherever love is no longer postponed. Wherever kindness is chosen instead of attack. Wherever truth is not used as a weapon. Wherever fear is seen clearly and not obeyed.
I do not know how the great traditions finally resolve their prophecies, and I do not need to. What I can see is this: every moment asks whether I will add to fear or add to love.
That is where restoration begins for me.

Yes, let us not only wait while doing nothing, but occupy until we see the fulfillment of true peace. You have a spark of the Deity within your heart. It can only awaken through the active works of love. What, did you not know that your body is the temple of the living God, and you are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19) Your deeds of love is your restitution and work of redemption.... The Way.
