@dirtycommo@anticapitalist.party Sometimes I make the mistake of asking a forum, like I wanted some thoughts on Pascal or C compilers for Atari 8-bit, explicitly said "I already know about every kind of BASIC, that's not my question". All I got was infodumping about Fastbasic. SIGH.
AND YET MY INVENTION OF MURDER ASSHOLES OVER THE INTERNET IS CONSIDERED UNETHICAL!!!1!

@mdhughes@appdot.net true. I suppose you could say I lurked mostly. "Went on" is a fairly vague phrase. I found really cool mailing lists from decades past there. I think my general strategy is to start a project thread and pretty much never talk outside of that. I just love hate mail / forum wars. I crack open the popcorn. My favourite kind of hate is people frothing at all my campaign photos and propaganda I fart out onto Facebook. Sometimes it is so, so funny.
