The band AC/DC came up in conversation today. I think Brian Johnson has to be the best replacement member of a band ever, especially for a singer.
His first album with them was Back In Black, a huge hit. He went on to perform with the band for over 30 years and remain popular with the fans.
Anybody else have a favorite replacement band member? #ACDC

@SecularJeffrey@ohai.social Sticking with heavy rock, I might well be tempted to say that when Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth as the lead singer of Van Halen, they got even better.
