  I have a self-imposed rule not to buy mince pies before November, on the grounds that it only encourages them to make Christmas start earlier and earlier. But the weather is so miserable with #StormBoelo that I succumbed in the supermarket this morning, especially as the posh #MincePies were half price. And that's why I'm sitting on the sofa this Sunday afternoon wrapped in a blanket, with a cat snoozing on my lap, a cup of tea and a mince pie and I AM LIVING THE DREAM.
