@shepherd@fosstodon.org from what i've understood up to now, this is a technical advantage of guix (and doubtless other systems i don't know) that i can have my home config safely mirrored somewhere and in that config define which packages i want to install and their configs.

@ehrt74@mastodon.social yes, you have complete transparency of the system. You can easily see if your operating system definition has a reference to some package that you find inadequate.
