@joshuagrady@social.lol Great to make this connection - thanks for saying hello. I love all the overlapping circles. I will gladly tell you about my experience anytime but so far so good. I’ve been on it since last Wednesday and really enjoying everything about it, including more time for blogging! Die Hard Pedro fan. Was sad to miss the show this year but I’ve seen him at Cat’s Cradle a few times since the pandemic. And thanks for the recommendation on the zine - it sounds fantastic and like it would be a good fit for my classes at Guilford. Will check it out. Let me know next time you’re in town. We can get coffee and talk indie rock. What band are your friends in? PS - McKays is closer to you now at least, right?!

@wess@social.lol We were probably at his last Cat's Cradle show together then! I think it was an anniversary tour, right? It's really a fantastic book, but it's left me a bit of a wreck as I try to determine how much it throws a wrench in how I want to live. I think it'll be worth it long term though. I'll absolutely try to keep this in mind! I used to frequent the Green Bean a bit, which I think may have been renamed now. My pals were in a group called The Collection, which is slightly renamed now that it's a solo project: https://davidwimbishandthecollection.bandcamp.com. I wouldn't be surprised if you've heard of them before. They used to play around Greensboro all the time.
