@obrhoff@mastodon.social Have you ever lead a team of software developers? Do you read all of their code? Do you have systems and processes in place so that you can disseminate your judgement and rely on their less capable judgement without you having to micromanage all of them? Tough to see the difference.

@kyle@mister.computer Indeed, I have, and it’s not that things get out of hand since it asks for some level of trust. Regardless of the guardrails. Full disclosure: I'm currently working on a complete agentic programming-based project (non iOS related) where we don’t read the code anymore and do exactly that in practice.
