@clive@saturation.social Not sure how old the laptop I have Linux on is... Battery is essentially useless (about 15 minutes, which is reasonable if you are aware of that, and know you can move it without shutting down, and plug it back in), and has a Pentium III processor. For what I want it for (mostly writing) it's quite fair.

@jigmedatse@social.jigmedatse.com I did have to buy a new battery for my thinkpad, the original one was pretty depleted thankfully there are zillions of replacement batteries for old thinkpads on the market, very cheap, and back then the batteries still just ... snapped easily out the back, with a quick-release switch, so incredibly easy to pop in a new one 😂
