@ascentale@sfba.social @jerzone@techhub.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social A6. Pitifully small at this point. Traveling overseas without anyone willing to store stuff for me meant jettisoning most of my bike stuff. Furthermore, one of my disabilities affects my hands so even if I know how to fix something, I often do not have the hand strength to do it - so I stopped trying to learn mech stuff.
Right now I carry a Tern minitool kit and I have a CycPlus AS2 Pro compressor since I can't physically handle the hand pump much. The compressor has been a change from what I was using in the US - a CO2 inflator (which I brought with me, but without cartridges). I feel better not using CO2, but the vibration of the compressor is hard on my hand nerves even using anti-vibration gloves and you have to be careful or you can burn yourself on the heat generated by some of the metal parts if they touch skin. #BikeNite

@meganL@mas.to @ascentale@sfba.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social One of my friends has a powered pump with silicone sleeve to keep heat from hands. Some now include extension hoses to isolate heat as well.

@meganL@mas.to @ascentale@sfba.social @jerzone@techhub.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social Oh, thanks!!! I like the idea of getting the cheap bigger ones (just not really an issue on the cargo bike ;)). I think it might be the kind my friend had last time I got a flat -- OK it only went to 80 PSI (which was fine for that ride). It's also the season where I want to find my portable auto battery jumper that I *thought* had a USB port too.... but I want to Be A Person Who Can Get YOu Started.
