    A big crow just landed in tree across the road, cat and I are staring intently to see what it does next (we like birds). It took off, seemed to be heading our way ... and was ambushed by smaller bird from above, knocked right out of the sky like a rock, boom! I think it recovered at the last minute before hitting ground, but wow, that had to hurt.

    Take 3 or 4, in which I conveniently forget past issues and dive into trying to make triple chainring work. 1. it&amp;#39;s very oval 2. it doesn&amp;#39;t go on as far as original, J.I.S. vs ISO? 3. that front derailleur is trying 4. i know, chain&amp;#39;s too long 5. would going back to 6 speed cassette help? 6. much lower speeds than original 52/42 crank 7. to shift front sometimes back needs to be shifted a few rings 8. glad it&amp;#39;s almost winter Me, trying to read up on all of this.....

    Hike after appointment was chock full of mushrooms. All the little wetland areas were dry, but that seemed to suit the mushrooms or high humidity is enough. #mushtodon #mushrooms #mosstodon

    Something different today: hiking Mt Cube. I&#39;ve hiked it from the south four times, from the west a couple times, but never been on the northern part of it where the AT continues towards the Whites. It was a perfect fall day for an up and back. Needless to say, lots of mushrooms. #hiking #AppalachianTrail #mushtodon #mosstodon

    I have a few devices where the micro usb is starting to fail. Turns out it is possible to convert to USB-C, if you can get the device open and have soldering skills.
