Instead of deregulating the childcare industry by loosening child-teacher ratios, the govt should focus on providing more funding to parents & providers. After all when it comes to things like defense, there is always money available. @amydiehl@mstdn.social caring for machines yield a higher salary than caring for humans. Same question, in essence. What do we value? Not human development, human lives, or similar.
