@NicoleCRust What a weird range of years for a human to predict, and be off by >> 10x. Not 5-10, but 3-8 years -- is this some kind of binary thing? Anyways, those MIT researchers didn't seem to learn from that time they tried to solve visual pattern recognition in one summer. Interesting! I do think machines can do *some* of these things now, but the holes in how useful those things were (e.g. read but not understand) are perhaps only apparent now.
