EV engine efficiency is greater than the one of combustible engine. Great. But, what about energy storage? Store 50l of petrol for a month vs. probably 150-300kWh el. energy in batteries for a month. This is an "extreme" example, but I think the point stands. EVs will dissipate energy for no actual benefit when stagnant. How much energy will go to waste because of this? What percentage of cars are in 100% use vs. sitting on their chargers most of the day?
