@ehashman@cloudisland.nz @Viss@mastodon.social I left 1Password in the dust over a year ago, for a variety of reasons that predated any of this drama. It was a pain, because there was no good export/import path, and because there was a lot of really old junk from ten years of use in the database, but an hour or two a day in the evening for a week got it all sorted. I’m glad I went to the effort.

@thomasareed@infosec.exchange @ehashman@cloudisland.nz i started out on 1pw because when i got hired at twitter it was a forced thing. every staff member was made to use it, and it did legitimately raise the bar for attackers. everything went to shit when they started forcing cloud
