And ableism is entwined with capitalism, toxic masculinity, and other oppressive systems, so it's a Gordian knot of these things, not simple to tease apart into separate bits. I think this is worth watching, especially for abled people. Because the time to fight ableism is NOW. If you become disabled, it doesn't mean you're suddenly free of ableism. And every bit of contempt you've been taught to feel about disabled people will be turned on yourself. You will feel worth less. You may judge yourself as "without an identity" because you may not be able to do the same work.
