Gentle reminder that shaming people for the size of their genitals and stigmatizing smaller penises is punching down. Plus, doing it anywhere is bad but here on Fedi, where so many of your friends and neighbours are trans, non binary and intersex? Come on. You probably grew up in an environment where size shaming and stigma were normalized and no one ever questioned that status quo around you. That's okay. You can choose to do better starting today.

@AdaraAstin@supervolcano.angryshark.eu The Fedi is such an interesting place, and I'm glad I found it. I just came on, and this was the first post I saw.

@AdaraAstin@supervolcano.angryshark.eu that’s also in turn asking people who were body shamed themselves to be the bigger person. Also, sometimes shaming is a form of coping. It sounds a little illogical, but subconsciously some people are shown that shame = love. That commenting on someone’s body is acceptable if you are trying to “help” the person. That it’s almost encouraged. So don’t jump to conclusions on why people shame others. It’s not that cut and dry tbh.
